About
After a 20-year stint in ICT, I turned to serve the UAE Government in 2019 to work on national science and technology policy in the Prime Minister Office. I also ran the operational affairs of several federal councils, including the Emirates Research and Development Council and the Emirates Genome Council.
I currently serve in the Ministry of Education as the acting assistant undersecretary for digital transformation and AI. On the job, I’m particularly passionate about the UAE’s scientific and technological advancement, new knowledge creation, and human development. Off duty, I enjoy spending time with my kids, reading on science and technology, playing video games, and painting miniatures while listening to audiobooks.
